MVV-requirement for start-up visa

As of 1 October 2015, the Dutch Immigration Services (IND) will no longer reject an application for a residence permit for a start-up entrepreneur solely because the entrepreneur does not have a valid mvv-visa. All other requirements for this residence permit should still be met.

In practice, this means that the start-up entrepreneur no longer needs to return to the country of residence to hand in the application. The entrepreneur travels
to the Netherlands on the basis of a short-term visa and can hand in the complete application in the Netherlands.
